The mat is nice and soft and matches the aesthetic of my Branch desk. After using for the last few weeks, the only thing I don’t like is the metal magnetic cable holder that leaves an imprint in the mat where it sits. As long as it always stays in the same place, no one will see the imprint, but I don’t like knowing I can’t move it to a different place or I risk additional imprints.

My desk is large so I bought the large desk mat. Padding on the back enables the mat to slide easily to reposition my laptop without picking it up and most importantly prevents scratches on my desk.

I love this desk mat! It started to lay flat after a day of leaving some heavy books on it. There is a super minor bump under the trough at the top that still doesn't lay flat, but honestly it is barely noticeable. My two favorite parts of this mat is the ability to hide loose papers and the magnetic cord holder so my cables that I don't use all the time don't fall behind my desk. I ordered the Stone color which is a cream color in person and I love it. This mat was more than I was originally going to spend, but it brings my desk set up together not only visually but functionally!
