Gymba is a second-generation, family-owned business baked in Nokia, Finland. The company was actually founded by accident in 2015 when original founder, Jarmo Pölönen, was working for an acoustics manufacturer developing a curved screen from plywood. As it turned out, the convex side of that product prototype made for the perfect active exercise board. The rest is history.
Today, Gymba has been awarded multiple design awards for their patented Balance Board. Their mission for making ergonomic products for a healthier way to work has helped thousands of workers across the globe.
